Michael Bang was born in a small village in january 1978. He grew up alone with his mom and dad, although he has two older sisters (and now also a younger brother). His father was a trained photographer, art lover, and a huge collector of books. Several thousand books and lots of litographs surrounded Michael when he was a child.

His father often dragged him around to various artists, and that's probably why Michael today has a predilection for weird and unordinary existences.

At the age of 10, Michael moved to another and much larger city with his mom, due to a divorce between his parents. Living alone with his mom wasn't all that bad - but 7 years later, when Michael was just 17, his mom died. From then on he lived alone.

A couple of months after his moms death, Michael bought his first SLR camera. Since then, Michael has always been fascinated by the art of photography, and enjoys shooting almost anything!

Michael now resides in Copenhagen, Denmark, and works as a full-time photograher.

He is a member of The Danish Union of Journalists.

1st Assistant

Phillip Drago was born in the center of Copenhagen 1976. The name "Drago" originates from Eastern Europe.

He has worked as an assistant for photographers such as Philip Elberling, Isaac Hoffmeyer, Jesper Jørgensen and last but definitely not least Leif Schiller, with whom he worked undtil Leif died in late 2007. In 2000 Leif Schiller received a Photographer of the Century Award by the Danish Photography Association.

Now Phillip is Michaels number one pick when it comes to creating that special lighting, and as a creative and innovative sparring.

Beside his huge involvement in photography, Phillip also attends The Art Academy of Fyn.
